Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are provided for general information and apply to all stays at Heritage Cairns Hotel.

Reception Hours

Reception is open daily from 8:00am to 9:00pm.

After-hours assistance is available via the door phone located at the main entrance.

Bookings & Payments

  • A valid credit card is required to guarantee all bookings.
  • A valid photo ID and credit card are required at check-in for verification and security purposes.
  • Full payment is taken on arrival, unless stated otherwise at the time of booking.
  • Guests with non-refundable reservations are charged for the full duration of the original booking.

Cancellations & Early Departures

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the check-in date.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival will incur a charge equivalent to one night’s stay.
  • Heritage Cairns Hotel reserves the right to apply an early departure fee if a guest departs prior to their scheduled check-out date.

Guest Responsibility & Property

  • Only registered guests with valid identification may be issued replacement key cards or granted access to rooms by hotel staff.
  • Guests are responsible for ensuring their room doors are securely closed at all times.
  • Heritage Cairns Hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. In-room safes are provided and recommended for valuables.
  • Registered guests are responsible for any missing or damaged items within their room or throughout the hotel, including any damage caused by visitors.

Smoking Policy

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside rooms and hotel interiors.
  • Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
  • A AUD $100 cleaning fee will apply if evidence of smoking is found in non-smoking areas.

Swimming Pool

  • The swimming pool is a limited supervision pool.
  • Guests use the pool at their own risk.
  • Heritage Cairns Hotel is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage resulting from pool use.

Marketing Communications

  • Guests may receive occasional emails regarding hotel updates, offers, or promotions.
  • You can opt out of these communications at any time.
